| Like most medieval houses, Blithfield is built around a central courtyard, so it was easy in 1986 to divide it into four separate houses, one on each side. The main part, which contains the Great Hall, is in the ownership of the Bagot Jewitt Trust. This part of the Hall remaining within the Bagot Jewitt trust is not open to the public but pre-booked tours are most welcome and it is available for use for a number of exclusive events each year, by prior arrangement. For further details, please contact Cosy Bagot Jewitt at

We have also teamed up with Tutbury Castle so that, following in the footsteps of Richard Bagot (1552 to 1597), you can visit these two exciting historic, Staffordshire properties. |
