You may be married in your local church or through a Civil Ceremony in a Registry Office.  Shortly, we hope to obtain a marriage licence for Blithfield Hall, so that Civil Marriages may also take place at Blithfield.

Following the Wedding ceremony, there are several ways of arranging your day and we aim to be as accommodating as possible. By way of example, there could be a drinks reception in the Great Hall, Orangery Garden or in a marquee in The Pleasure Garden.

After the drinks reception, the wedding party could move to the marquee for a banquet dinner and dancing provided by our caterers and musicians. Out of consideration to our neighbours, guests must leave by midnight.

Due to the fragile nature of the Hall and it's contents, we respectively ask that guests do not wear stiletto heels, there is no smoking when inside the building and that children under 12 are entertained in the Servants Hall during the drinks reception. Please ask for more details.
